Become a member of the Worthing Astronomical Society
Anyone is welcome to join the Worthing Astronomical Society. By becoming a member you will gain access to all of our monthly meetings and lectures by specialists in their fields. You will also gain the oportunity to visit the observatory and use its telescopes on the evenings that it is manned by one of the observatory sub commitee.
We emplore all members to be as active as they can be and to get involved in any star parties, Solar & Lunar or public outreach events that we may hold, but this is an optional extra.
We aim to be as active as possible when the English weather allows us to be, so if you have your own telescope then we would encourage any member to join us for observing sessions and to enjoy the beauty of the night sky.
If you have never been to one of our meetings before you are welcome to come along and meet us all. Everyones first attendance is free of charge.
